Crisis support in-person or over the phone when you’re reaching breaking point

 

Community spaces for men to connect, converse and create to reduce loneliness and isolation

 

The First Response Crisis Service offers support 24 hours a day, seven days a week to people of all ages living in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale or Craven experiencing a mental health crisis. Call Freephone 0800 952 1181

Free on all major mobile networks, for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere. It’s a place to go if you’re struggling to cope and you need immediate help.

 

Talking groups for men who have either been through a storm, are currently going through a storm or have a storm brewing in life. They provide nationwide mental health support talking groups every Monday from 7pm excluding bank holidays.

A completely confidential service for men of Asian, African and African-Caribbean origin, aged 13 and over. You can reach out to them on 01274 497535 and you can leave details of how you would like to be contacted. A mental health and crisis charity based in Huddersfield to help you with complex needs. They encourage recovery through various activities, such as gardening, woodwork, bike maintenance and board games allowing men to recover at their own pace and within a safe and non-judgmental environment. Men’s peer support group in Keighley Thornton, Wilsden, Bingley and Silsden. A safe, confidential space to come and talk about anything that is affecting your well-being, mental health or quality of life. We have MHFA & Peer Support trained facilitators at each group with safeguarding & signposting policies in place to help ensure that the best support is provided to everybody that attends.

 

A free, safe and anonymous online mental wellbeing community for adults. Support includes an online magazine, community forums, and professional text based support and counselling through an online platform.

Domestic Abuse Male survivors support “Bens Place”: Covers Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax & Wakefield. They offer lots of services, including counselling, peer support and men can self-refer.
